The intended radio station to broadcast our show is Sheffield Live!. Sheffield Live! is a community based radio station established in 2003. Sheffield Live has a wide range of shows that target the interest of many ethnic groups of many ages with different interests. This will be really good for us as we aim to get as wide of an audience as possible, so we can brighten the day of our audiences.
B) Target audience
Intended age of audience: 16 to 21, mostly male (70%), A,B,C1, Interested in news or just looking to waste time. The audience will be Sheffield/Yorkshire based, Most likely to be Students and and young adults. The audience will be interested in a wide range of music and have an interest in extreme sports.
C) Content plan
The content of the show will consist of fun news from the past week and real news with a lighthearted comedic twist and music. The music used in the show will be current popular music and also local music so we can advertise local bands and give them a bigger audience.
